The Governors of Sneyd Academy are offering an exciting opportunity for a School Care Club Worker to join our friendly and professional team to provide care and supervision for pupils outside of school hours.
The successful candidate will have the strongest commitment and passion, be a very motivated team player in a highly effective staffing team, be able to demonstrate exemplary primary classroom practice and expect excellence from our children, be a team player and demonstrate patience and resilience.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public, including staff and students in accurate spoken English is essential for the post, therefore postholders must be able to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.
Our academy is a large and diverse primary academy with happy children and staff and an exciting curriculum. We ensure that children are shown compassion, understanding and care whilst also providing the very best teaching possible. Why Sneyd?
Sneyd Academy is a large inclusive primary academy in the Burslem area of Stoke-on-Trent. It is one of the largest primary academies in the area and has pupils from nursery to year six. The academy dates back to 1901 and whilst it has many modern features, it retains a strong history and pupils benefit from a good Edwardian building. The academy has recently benefited from a significant investment in digital infrastructure. We are fortunate to have large areas of green space, and this has been complimented with the recent addition of an outdoor learning space.
