The Discovery Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Associate Teacher of Science (Apprenticeship Route) to join our strong team of highly motivated professionals who work collaboratively to raise standards and expectations at all levels throughout Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will be placed on the Staffordshire University Apprentice Teacher Programme, which is fully funded by Alpha Academies Trust. During the programme you will complete a Level 6 Apprenticeship course and gain Qualified Teacher Status within a maximum period of 15 months. During this time, you will benefit from on-the-job teaching experience along with 6 hours per week dedicated to your own learning and development. There will be a permanent position available upon completion of the apprenticeship.
